When asked to visualize all of time, I was completely blown away by the concept "all of time" and its mind-boggling ambiguity. I had many ideas of time, but struggled with how to truly capture it. Time is constantly moving, and “all of time" is suggestive of a beginning and an end. We identify different moments of time as past, present, and future. What is different between measuring time and telling it? What is the timeline? How does it move? Concept maps below show my interpretation of all of time. The first animation visualizes all of time to and from this very moment, while the second animation visualizes how time is experienced as a whole. Ultimately, this project is a series of short animations and stills reflecting on the passage of time.
